A friend of mine is looking for a tree spade to fit a compact utility tractor. Does anyone know if anyone makes them for this type of tractor? Are they typically 3 point mounted or loader mounted? How well to they work? He is contemplating a small tree farm and would like to get as much use out of his utility tractor as possible. Thanks.

I am a landscaper and have a 3pth tree spade on one of my Kubotas (an L3450) it works fantastic, but often I find it sort of "over-powers" the tractor, it will be put it on a larger machine when my new ones arrive in October. The one I use is from Dutchmaster Nurseries here in Toronto they are a HUGE tree nursery and certainly know all about tree spades. Best of luck. ....

We are a dealer and handle the Caretree line of tree spades. There are spades made for 3pt on compacts but they are limited to the smallest sizes of spade due to weight transfer considerations. We would be happy to provide information or quote one for you. Contact us via email or 864-859-2623 during business hours ....
